Today 12/13, I scheduled an appointment with a clinic in Boston to get retested & to get treated for the syphillis. They were able to treat me in one visit with 2 shots of penicillin. I informed the clinic in Boston what occurred & they recommended getting retested due to the incompetence of MedPost. I was also informed that MedPost failed to report my positive syphillis result to the MA Board of Health, which is a state requirement.
Visit was good. Nurse and Doctor were pleasant and helpful. Although, I called days later regarding symptoms that had not subsided and the receptionist told me that the Dr. would call me back. Never received a phone call. Not very happy about that. Thankfully, my Mom is a nurse and helped me. Communication is key in an office. Please be better at this!
Doctor Cetera was very thorough in her exam and recommended OTC treatment that worked immediately after other OTC treatments had not helped relieve my symptoms. They have convenient night and weekend hours and I was seen promptly. I would definitely go back for future care.
I wouldn’t return here for a band aid or if my life depended on it. I am considering consulting with my lawyer regarding my treatment at this facility & to recover costs incurred by their misdiagnosis.
For me it was simple and straight forward to check in. Fill out and sign the usual forms on a tablet and you're all set. The service inside was nice and expedite. The explanation from the doctor was clear and she even offered translation of the documents to Spanish (my first language). Overall I feel happy with the service.
I spent 4 absolutely grueling days stressing out & worrying about my future, all because Bart misdiagnosed my issue without definitive proof. I spent $225 for the “examination” & for the lab testing. The lab results did return a positive result for syphillis & this facility quoted me $1000 for the penicillin, 3 separate visits to administer the penicillin @ $129 per visit, with a total of $1387. This was apparently due to me having syphillis 9 years prior.
I visited the Franklin location 12/5 due to pain while urinating & also some sores were present. Upon examination of my penis, Bart informed me that it’s most likely herpes. They took blood & urine samples, which were sent to the lab for testing. 4 days later on 12/9, the herpes result came back NEGATIVE.
I walked in a noon today (Sunday) to a completely empty room. There wasn't even someone at the front desk. Five minutes later a woman came out and asked if I had an appointment. I said no and she said she needed to get her computer. When she came back she said they had no appointments until 3pm. What kind of place says they welcome walkins and then say there's a 3 hour wait when the waiting room is a complete ghost town? MedPost? More like MedPostpone...
